Working with your assistant

What to say, and what it can actually do for you.

Your assistant can do the same things you can do by hand: write and publish posts, add products, change prices, set up events, edit your pages, and tell you how the business is doing. Ask for the outcome you want rather than the steps.

Things worth asking for

• Add a hoodie for $40 in S, M, L and XL.
• The extra large is five dollars more.
• We only have three larges left.
• Write a post about our new drop and publish it.
• How much money did I make in the last 30 days, and where did it come from?
• Is my shop ready to take money?

When it checks with you first

Anything that takes money, sends something to your customers, or deletes work is confirmed with you before it happens. If you are ever unsure what changed, ask what it just did.
